In this manual, you’ll find lots of useful information that we’ve compiled over the years to help our guests make the most of their stay. From instructions on how to use the appliances to recommendations for nearby restaurants and shopping areas, we’ve got it all covered.

House rules

We kindly ask you to read our house rules carefully and keep them in mind during your stay.

  • No parties or events allowed.
  • No smoking allowed.
  • No pets allowed.
  • Suitable for toddlers and children under 12.
  • No unregistered guests allowed.
  • Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
  • Please respect the noise curfew.
  • Please turn off the AC when you go out.
  • Please respect check-in and check-out times.
  • Please take extra care of your keys. Lost keys incur a replacement fee of 50 euro.
  • Please take care of the furnishings. You have to pay for damages that exceed the security deposit.
  • Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
  • Please do your dishes.
  • Please take the trash out before you leave.
  • No illegal substances allowed on the premises.

Air Conditioning

The property is equipped with air conditioning for your comfort during warmer seasons. Central Heating & Cooling control for the house is located on the living room wall, allowing guests to adjust the temperature for their comfort.

Also a remote control is located in the bedroom.

Security, Safety & Doors

Lock All Doors and Windows:

Before leaving the property, ensure that all doors and windows are securely locked. This includes both main entry points and any secondary entrances or windows.

A CCTV fence camera operating on the front entrance.

A smoke detector, a Fire Extinguisher, fire blanket & first aid kit exists in the livingroom.

An emergency generator 7.5 kva and an emergency water tank of 1000 lt are available.

Utility room with essentials

Baby high chair, Cleaning Supplies, Trash Bags, Mop, Broom, Dustpan, Ironing board, Toilet Paper etc.

Kitchen

Coffee, Tea, and Sugar: Upon arrival, guests will find instant coffee, filter coffee, espresso capsules, tea bags, and sugar stocked in the kitchen. They can use these essentials to prepare their favorite beverages during their stay.

Basic Cooking Supplies: The kitchen is equipped with basic cooking supplies such as cooking oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Guests can use these ingredients to enhance the flavor of their meals.

Cookware and Utensils: The kitchen includes a variety of cookware, utensils, and kitchen gadgets to facilitate meal preparation. Guests will find pots, pans, knives, cutting boards, spatulas, and other essential tools for cooking and dining.

Appliances  available in the kitchen  include a  refrigerator/freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, and coffee maker. These appliances are provided to make guests feel at home and allow them to prepare meals and beverages according to their preferences.

Dishware and Glassware: Guests will find a selection of dishware, glassware, and silverware available for their use. This includes plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, and utensils for dining and serving meals.

Solar Heater Boiler

The Villa is equipped with a 200 ltr solar boiler for hot water.

Microwave oven:

Materials that can be used in the microwave oven:

Dinnerware: microwave-safe only. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.

  • Glass jars: always remove the lid. Use only to heat up food until it is just about warm. Most glass jars are not heat-resistant and may break.
  • Glassware: heat-resistant oven glass ware only. Make sure there is no metallic elements or parts. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
  • Oven cooking bags: follow manufacturer’s instructions. Do not close with metal tie. Make slits to allow steam to escape.
  • Plastic: microwave-safe only. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Should be labeled „microwave safe“. Some plastic containers soften, as the food inside gets hot. ‚Boiling bags“ and tightly colsed plastic bags should be slit, pierced or vented.
  • Plastic wrap: microwave-safe only. Use to cover food during cooking to retain moisture. Do not allow plastic wrap to touch food.
  • Thermometers: microwave-safe only.

Materials to be avoided in the microwave oven

  • Aluminum foil: Shielding only. Small smooth pieces can be used to cover thin parts of meat or poultry to prevent overcooking. Arcing can occur if foil is too close to the oven walls. The foil should be at least 2,5cm away from the oven walls.
  • Aluminum tray: may cause arcing. Transfer food into a microwave-safe dish. 
  • Food carton with metal handle: may cause arcing. Transfer food into a microwave-safe dish.
  • Metal or metal-trimmed utensils: metal shields the food from microwave energy. Metal trim may cause arcing.
  • Metal twist ties: may cause arcing and could cause a fire in the oven.
  • Paper bags: may cause a fire in the oven.
  • Plastic foam: plastic foam may melt or contaminate the liquid inside when exposed to high temperature.
  • Wood: wood will dry out when used in the microwave oven and may split or crack.

Coffee Maker:

  • Step 1: Fill in the water tank and turn on the coffee machine by pressing either the “Espresso” or “Lungo” button. Coffee machine is ready to use when the button stops blinking.
  • Step 2: Place your cup under the coffee machine nozzle.
  • Step 3: Lift the lever, and insert your capsule of choice into the coffee machine.
  • Step 4: Select either “Espresso” or “Lungo” coffee button – just one button for a perfectly extracted shot.
  • Step 5: Sit back, relax and enjoy your freshly made coffee!
Bedrooms

In the bedrooms, guests will find various amenities and furnishings to ensure comfort during their stay. Here’s a  list of what guests will find in the bedrooms:

Bedding: Clean sheets, pillowcases  and blankets are provided for each bed. Extra bedding may be available in the closet or storage area.

Pillows: Guests can expect to find pillows on each bed.

Closet/Storage Space: A  wardrobe is provided in the bedroom for guests to hang clothes and store belongings. Hangers are available for guests to use.

Nightstands: Bedside tables or nightstands are available next to each bed, providing a convenient surface for placing personal items and lamps.

Lighting: Bedrooms are equipped with overhead lighting as well as bedside lamps lights for reading and ambiance.

Window Treatments: Curtains or blinds are installed on windows to provide privacy and control the amount of natural light entering the room.

Seating Area: Provide comfortable seating options such as sofa and  low seats  for guests to relax and socialize.

Coffee Table: A coffee table is placed in the center of the seating area, providing a convenient surface for placing drinks, snacks, and reading materials.

Television: A Smart TV 43″ set with satellite is found in the living room for guests to enjoy entertainment programs, movies, or sports events.

Remote Controls: Remote control for the television is  placed on the coffee table.

Supermarkets

There are  mini-markets scattered throughout Pefkos, including along the main road. These mini-markets typically stock a variety of groceries, snacks, beverages, and household items, offering convenience for residents and visitors staying in the area. (10-15min walking- 3-4 min drive)

Lardos is a nearby village, just a short drive away from Pefkos. It has larger supermarkets where you can find a wider selection of products. ( 10min drive)

Pefkos village, offers a variety of restaurants and cafes  where visitors can enjoy delicious food and beverages in a charming setting. Here’s some information about popular dining establishments and cafes in Pefkos:

Jasmine Cocktail Snack Bar

Location: Main road of Pefkos

Description: Situated on the main road of Pefkos, Jasmine Bar is known for its cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. It’s a popular spot for enjoying a wide selection of cocktails, beers, spirts, breakfast and light snacks. The bar provides  kids play area and it’s also popular  for  large Tvs  showing sport  games.

George’s Family Restaurant

Location: Main road of Pefkos

Description: Situated on the main road of Pefkos, George’s Family Restaurant offers a menu featuring Greek and Mediterranean dishes. It has a relaxed atmosphere and outdoor seating.

Peperoncino

Location: Main road of Pefkos

Description: Situated on the main road of Pefkos Peperoncino It’s a favorite among both locals and tourists for its selection of Italian, Pizza, Sicilian, Southern-Italian dishes.

Pallas Taverna

Location: Pallas Beach Taverna restaurant is located in picturesque main beach of Lindos  and is an idyllic place by the sea.

Description: Pallas Beach Taverna is the perfect place to sample the most delicious homemade Greek specialties. Rich appetizers, soups, grilled and, of course, fresh fish and seafood along with traditional ouzo. The place is magnificent, it has tables on the beach and staff are always willing to serve you with a big smile.
